website design process
TDi work with the difference-makers to show the possibility of doing good and making money, whilst sowing the seeds of a future economy.
TDi required a new website to showcase their passion for working alongside the creatives and innovators they collaborate with. TDi had also had a brand refresh created by Kristi at McKenzie and Co which the new website reflects the new look. The result, a fresh and modern website highlighting their services and the human component of their business.
Some Key Features
We worked with Laura and the team to develop our updated website. Laura was really interested in understanding our needs and worked with us to get the best possible outcome. She was patient with us and explained the process really well. She was generous with her time, and does a fantastic job to continue to support us post-implementation. We couldn’t recommend Laura and the Grendesign team highly enough!’

Skills Website Design
The design focuses on storytelling with the use of video, longer page elements and strong typography. The site opens to an evocative video with the TDI brand placed on top to set the scene.
Moving down the page the main focus areas are showcased separately giving them an introduction and links to learn more, teamed with strong imagery and white space.
We have used custom photography and the textured branded coloured backgrounds to create a balance of the earthy artwork whilst communicating the TDi key ideas.
Using strong block colour in aquamarine surrounded by clean white space the user can navigate the services TDI provides with ease and understanding without feeling overwhelmed by information.
Hand drawn illustrations provided by Kristi used through the new site help define the different areas of service TDi provide.
integrated instagram feed
The integrated Instagram feed showcases the images that TDi are highlighting daily, giving visitors to the website another view of their current projects and clients they are working with.
The strong typography header style used throughout the website creates impact on the important points of each section.
TDi work alongside a vast range of groups and businesses and we have chosen to showcase this in an easily navigated colour block with learn more buttons for each area from Government groups through to Not For Profits.
A smaller description follows a custom image and users simply click on the learn more button to access detailed information along with a contact page for the prospective client’s ease of enquiry.
To easily capture visitors to any new website it is paramount that the ‘contact us’ page be easily navigated by the user.
Any detailed information on contact us pages should be concise and relevant.
We have chosen to highlight this ‘get in touch’ section with another colour block, this time in the rust texture to create a cohesive feel with the TDi branding.
A great tool for larger websites as it helps the user navigate quickly around larger and complex wesites.
