Website Design Process | Staytray

Kate from Staytray had approached us to create marketing material, business cards and brochures for her exciting new company about to launch! We were thrilled when Kate also asked us to create the new website for Staytray. Australia’s first & only reusable drink tray made from recycled materials. This aligned perfectly with us a business and with our website designer Rebekah who is passionate about all things environmental. The site would contain large amounts of information yet need to be modern and clean in keeping with the companies ethos of simplicity.

Striking imagery combined with a balance of fun and professionalism come together to create the impressive new website for Staytray that we feel will really appeal to their target markets. We have created a clean design with clearly defined sections allowing the user to easily navigate to the information they are after right from the homepage. The stand out deep peach colour of the branding is carried throughout the website used to separate the information and highlight areas throughout the site.



Striking professional images make all the difference to the Staytray website giving the user detailed shots of this amazing product, it’s uses and the difference this can make environmentally. The photography is light and fresh adding to the clean feel of the website.


Integrated Payment System

This website needed a straightforward payment system that allows the user easy navigation to purchase a single StayTray or to buy in bulk geared more towards cafes and larger retail outlets. The bulk shop page is kept simple with a ‘box of 15’ option and a ‘box of 50’ option. Whether the user is purchasing in bulk or a single tray they can do so in two easy steps which is in keeping with this companies ethos of simplicity.



Integrated Blog

The blog section of this website is essential for spreading the Stay Tray word and the message behind this product. There are many different articles featured and these are reached by simply clicking on the article the user is interested in. The articles are all linked and the imagery used appeals to the user by helping tell the story and invites further reading!
