Max’s Restaurant is the original winery restaurant on the Mornington Peninsula. Max Paganoni has such passion for local produce and wines and has created the multi-award winning restaurant that is frequented by guests from all over the world every day of the year.
We were delighted to work with such a highly regarded restaurant on the Peninsula to refine and update their website and were excited to begin transforming it into a modern and contemporary reflection of the successful business. A large amount of information from Weddings to Max’s boutique accommodation needed to be included in this project so we focused on keeping this design simple and classic without overcrowding or making it complicated for the user to navigate

We have chosen to feature a quote and headshot of Max at the top of the page to give the user a feel for the restaurant as soon as they land on the page. This is below an incredible shot of the restaurant showing the views at dusk which we felt set the tone for the home page immediately giving a warm and welcoming feel. We have introduced a rich grey colour for backgrounds and headings throughout the website to separate the relevant information into sections. From the home page three main options of ‘Dine, Stay or Celebrate’ allows the user to easily navigate to the relevant pages directly. As you navigate down the page the separate sections are highlighted by amazing imagery from the Winery and upcoming events.

Integrated bookings systems are a flexible, instant way of allowing customers the ability to book a table from any device, at any time.
They can reduce admin load on staff and allow insights into customer activity and frequency.

This website is laden with beautiful and breathtaking images of the restaurant, surrounding vineyards and the amazing meals that are on offer. By overlaying the logo and menu items in white onto the main feature image we have been able to incorporate the current branding in a fresh way.
We have used full-width images and sections to separate the information and reading material into effortless searching from a clients perspective. The end result is a vibrant modern website with images that showcase exquisitely the dining experience right through to the tours through Italy Max is famous for.
