Engaging a graphic designer can be a daunting task. We will break down the process and ensure it works for you, your business and outcome. Listed below is a basic outline of how the project will unfold and be delivered. Talk to our team today for further information.
stage one: project brief and proposal
It all starts with the briefing process to ensure we get all the right information. No one likes bill shock so we ensure that we collect all the details to get started.
We will then send you through a proposal and detailed quote with included changes and any external costs. During this proposal phase, we will also give a timeframe for our start date, concepts and delivery. If your project is super urgent we also offer a priority service.
TIMELINE + DEPOSIT
To start your project we will need a 50% deposit. Once we’ve received this we will get the project underway and give you an estimated date when you will receive proofs of your designs.
stage two: creative
We love this stage! Solving problems visually gets us excited and we love coming up with a solution that connects you to your customer.
We will create concepts for you based on the information we gathered in our brief project meeting. Depending on your requirements one or a number of concepts may be presented.
Once you've received the concepts the feedback stage is where we hear your thoughts on the designs, make any changes and can discuss the decisions behind the design elements.
We include a set amount of time for revisions which will be stated in our initial proposal to cover small text changes. If changes outside the inital brief or time frame we can continue with alterations charged on time.
stage three: finalise artwork
Once you are happy with the finished designs and checked all important details are correct we will get your final approval via email.
Upon the approval, we will send out our final invoice for the completion of the project including any printing or stock photo/illustration purchases.
When we've received our final payment we will package up your artwork and supply you with the relevant file formats. We keep everything on file so if you need it in the future we can retrieve the artwork for you.
